If you have acute, non-urgent symptoms or need help managing a chronic condition, this convenient service might be a good fit for you. Patients new to AdventHealth Medical Group and needing a medication refill must first be seen for an in-person visit.

Virtual care services are available Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm (closed from 1 to 1:30 pm).

- Who Can Use Virtual Care Services?

Kansas and Missouri residents can request virtual care appointments. You may be a new or current patient of an AdventHealth provider.
Note: Patients new to AdventHealth Medical Group and needing a medication refill must first be seen for an in-person visit.
- How Do I Prepare for a Virtual Care Appointment?

- Have your photo ID ready.
- If you’re able, use your technology/devices to get your blood pressure and temperature before your virtual visit to share with your clinical team.
- Find a quiet area to sit. If you are driving, please find a safe place to park before your appointment begins. If a patient is operating a vehicle, the provider will cancel the appointment.
- Our medical assistant will call you approximately 5 to 15 minutes before your appointment time. Please answer the call from Call913-676-8197 so the medical assistant can confirm your information prior to your visit.
- How Long is a Virtual Care Appointment?

Each virtual care visit will be approximately 15 minutes long.
- How Many Health Issues Can I Discuss During My Appointment?

To ensure we’re able to provide you the best care, we can address one chief complaint during a virtual visit. Our goal is to provide you the most efficient and effective evaluation for a non-emergency condition.
- If Another Person Needs Care Too, Can They Be Seen During My Visit?

No, we are only able to address the health concerns of one patient per appointment. Our scheduling team will be glad to schedule a separate appointment for anyone else needing care.
- When is Virtual Care Available?

Virtual care services are available Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with closure for lunch from 1 to 1:30 pm. Hours may occasionally be adjusted based on provider availability.
- What If I Need Lab Work or Treatment After My Visit?

Your virtual care provider may refer you to a clinic if additional services are necessary. These services include swabs, urine analysis, listening to your lungs or breathing treatments. You should contact your primary care provider after your video visit to let them know about your appointment and diagnosis. They may request an additional follow-up appointment.

- Is Virtual Care Covered By Insurance?

We accept most insurances. For self-pay, your fee may vary based on diagnosis.
